Further
Education
Is proficiency in the English
language important?
Almost all universities in the UK, USA, Australia and
New Zealand require students to hold a minimum standard
in a TOEFL or IELTS test.
However, if you have not sat for the test, and are registering
for one of our affiliated universities, please inform
us, so that we may assist you in your application.
Exceptional students may qualify with an interview.

Which university is better?
Preference for a particular university depends very
much on a variety of factors, namely financial means,
choice of city or suburb, content of the course, location
and distance from Malaysia, reputation, etc.
Only you and your parents can determine which is better
according to your preference. Rest assured that all
the universities that we collaborate with are known
for their Design education.
Visit our International
Office for more detailed information.

Where have most of the TOA graduates gone to
further their studies? Are there many?
Our graduates have gone to Australia, New Zealand, the
US, and the UK.
There are various factors that have played a role in
their decisions. Some who went to the US chose it for
its reputation as the land for designers.
Those who went to UK went due to our early affiliations with the universities there. Those who went to Australia and New Zealand also went for the same reasons, and because it is closer though not necessarily more affordable.
We are seeing more students continuing their studies recently, mostly to the UK, Australia and New Zealand due to tuition fees and distance.
Most graduates prefer to work after graduation. They have been working their way up the ladder in various types of companies.
Our diploma provides the best local training available
that is fully recognized and is preferred by the industry.

Will TOA help me with application to other universities?
Yes, we can help to advise and provide relevant information
if required.
However, applications and dealing with problems concerning
other non-affiliated universities will have to be handled
by the students themselves.
